PP’s first client was RJ, who in the early 1980s was a millionaire who flourished in advertising. PP was a 12-year old young lass peddled by a pimp related to her. Nothing spectacular happened in the liaison between RJ with PP, the former being apparently a good and generous guest. PP intimated that RJ being past his prime was “gentle and caring.” On the other hand, TVJ was a budding trio handled by RJ he being a good marketer and immersed in entertainment. His TAPE (entertainment production outfit) is his brainchild. That was the beginning of their fruitful business relationship. TVJ works under RJ who produced the daily noon time show “Eat Bulaga”. Being good friends with proximity and energy, TVJ and RJ exchange notes on their sexual escapades. RJ recommended PP to VS because VS was always bragging about his preference to young girls. Once PP finally met VS, VS became unruly and rough. It looked like VS was high and under the influence. When PP was brought by the pimp to the designated resort, JdL and TVJ’s sidekick RdH, were present. JdL and RdH joined the fray. PP begged for mercy. The three taped PP ala pila balde. RJ was solicitous in helping TVJ when they, except TS (but included RdH), were charged with sexual assault by PP. RJ provided financial assistance and legal representation since PP sought the protection of then Defense Minister JPE. TS brought Boy Ulo into the picture trying to save some of the funds advanced by RJ. In all these unfolding real life drama RJ was behind TVJ without let up. PP eventually killed herself allegedly. Boy Ulo was not fully investigated thru the efforts of RJ. VS, JdL amd RdH were eventually exonerated. Because of the media closeness of RJ, he exerted his clout by flooding the radio, TV and print media that VS, JdL and RdH were victims of extortionists. In a twist of fate, RJ was convicted for molesting a 12-year old girl. While in prison, TVJ never visited RJ nor pleasantly contacted him on matters of business. TVJ treated RJ like a leper and wouldn’t touch him with a ten-foot pole claiming that any modicum exhibit by TVJ to RJ was allegedly bad for their reputation. RJ languished in jail for some 15 years without any by-your-leave from TVJ. Now that there is a brewing legal confrontation between TAPE and TVJ on the issue on who owns “Eat Bulaga”, RJ begged for settlement. TVJ rejected the plea of RJ saying, “mag asunto na lang tayo!” whispering to their Dabarkads that they are talent/creator of the legendary noontime show. Now Darryl Yap is in the middle of the maelstrom glueing the stupid 31M in tenterhooks on how this true-to-life opera culminates.
